There are only a few weeks left before the expo! With so little time left, the artists are working hard to bring together their projects for this epic weekend! Everyone has been so busy, it’s been hard to track down our featured artists for some interviews but we managed to catch David Chea on his down time! David owns Glass Street Tattoo in Pembroke, NH and is an awesome artist so be sure to check him out at this years expo!

How long have you been a tattoo artist?
“I’ve been tattooing professionally for four years now! Six years if you count the basement days haha!”
What would you say is your favorite style to tattoo?
“I’m very versatile so it’s hard to pick a favorite! I just love tattooing.”
Do you have anything especially fun planned for the weekend in regards to tattoos? Any large pieces going to be in the works?
“I have epic designs and awesome clients specifically for each day that I can’t wait to show you all!”
Will you be entering your work in to any of the contests that are going on that weekend?
“I’m trying to put myself out there this year so I am going to enter as many contests as I can! The one that matters most to me is The Best Of The Day.”
Do you have any influences in the tattoo community? What about other artists that might inspire your work?
“Every time I feel like I killed a tattoo, I go on Instagram to post it. Instantly, I’m humbled by the rest of the community’s artwork. This definitely drives me to better my own craft!”
Do you have a favorite moment as a tattoo artist? Maybe a client that was especially memorable or a tattoo that you did and just absolutely loved?
“Every moment is too unique to say I have a favorite but I do have some killer clients!”
Have you ever attended the LFOD Expo before? What years?
“I have attended the most recent two years of the convention.”
What made you decide to participate in this years Expo?
“Of all of the expos I’ve done, LFOD is definitely my favorite one!”
Do you think you’ll return again next year?
“If I die between now and then, I hope I have a good enough friend to bring my ashes!”
