New Hampshire is not really that well known for it’s body modification industry. Most people think that our lives up here primarily revolve around cows and farming. Of course those of us who live here know that that is not the full story. A great deal of the residents of New Hampshire are fans of tattoos and piercings. Twelve years ago, Jon Thomas, owner of Spider-Bite Body Piercing and Tattoo Angus Custom Tattoo had an idea to create an event that reflected people’s love of the industry and was a great place for artists from all over the country to share their talents.

Every summer, Spider-Bite Body Piercing and Tattoo Angus get together and put on the Live Free or Die Tattoo Expo. The event happens in July and is something that many artists look forward to all year. With around 150 artists from all across the United States, the LFOD Expo is the only body modification event that happens in New Hampshire. Whether clients show up for a “walk-in” piece or book an appointment with an artist at the expo beforehand, the Live Free or Die Tattoo Expo is a great event to see just how many talented artists are out there.

The expo is not just a place to wander around and possibly get tattooed… There are also contests! Every year, there are multiple contests where the artists and their canvases compete to win Tattoo of the Day, Piercing of the Day, Best Sleeve, Best Black & Grey and so many more! The winning canvas and artist  receive a standing plaque for the catagory they have won and also get their photos taken by Black Mill Photography for the LFOD website. Seeing so many beautiful pieces of work in the same place can be a bit overwhelming, so be sure to check out the competitions at the next Live Free or Die Tattoo Expo being held July 20th, 21st & 22nd, 2018!

If you have not visited the Live Free Or Die Tattoo Expo yet, you are really missing out! There are so many amazing things to look at, people to talk with and tattoos to be seen. Body piercers also show up and most times, are able to offer piercings at the Expo or are available to sell jewelry to those who might be in the market for a new shiny piece! Be sure to purchase your tickets to the LFOD Tattoo Expo so you do not miss your chance to attend the ONLY tattoo expo in New Hampshire! Buy NOW and save $5.00!!
